Marine and Navy Sailors were would sing and laugh playing the song “Yankee Doodle Dandy” while being out gunned, out numbered by stronger faster British ships who were inflicting very heavy losses on them. The high morale of volunteers laughing in the face of a much stronger, trained and well equipped professional soldiers was the secret weapon that won our battle for freedom. This would be forever known around the world as the “American Fighting Spirit.”
Create the “Good Cheer” of the American spirit and you get volunteer reward points called “Loony.” Trade the points nationwide at local celebrations for anything in the national treasure chest or go on a “Treasure Hunt” for booty at this location.
