Pirate School

Heroes born with special abilities such as Down syndrome, spina bifida or autism are turned into Super Heroes in this 30 episode TV series. Pirate School teaches volunteers the safety, comedy and production skills needed for this all volunteer TV series.
This multi-State production is based from a nonprofit located on Lake Lanier, but “pop up” rehearsal studios can be created anywhere online. Pirate School lets you learn or practice safety, comedy or technical skills at sports bars, schools, churches, boat clubs and even your back yard party.
Besides producing the episode, each team creates a very important “cast party” where the Super Hero of their episode is celebrated by the entire community. This “cast party” is scripted and becomes an integral part of each episode. The “Cast Party” brings out the whole community to celebrate their chosen Super Hero! Pirate School is an integral part of organizing volunteers to put on these large events.

Learn 1, Do 1, Teach 1

(These are the 3 blocks checked off for every lesson.)
Their are 3 courses, Sailor, Landlubber and Pirate. These are different skills that will prepare you to be part of the Production Team.  Sailor teaches you sailing, scuba and safety skills, Landubber teaches you production skills and Pirate teaches you content development.
Even if you know the skill really well, you must still be checked off as a student for it.  This gives another person practice teaching the skill.
Even if you do not know the skill very well, you can still teach and check off the skill for any other person.  Teaching the skill helps you learn it.
You are listed to learn or teach by the last time you checked in.  You should use "Edit" to update your check in photo and date each time you want to learn or teach.
To learn you pay somebody a few loonies for the lesson and put the lesson code E3, L5, P6 etc. in the message. The teacher and the student both negotiate the course price in loonies and conditions that may include voluntold labor.  You can be paid a few loonies to teach what you have just learned seconds ago.  You can pay a person as the teacher even if you are both figuring it out together for the first time. The amount and conditions are negotiated each time you learn or teach. You may complete anything in any order but only advance in rank sequentially.
You can verify the results of any students advancement claims by looking at their "Booty History."
Use the edit button each time you want to advance or continue learning!  If you check "I want to learn" or "I want to teach" that means people can contact you to be a student or teacher in those areas.

Gamer - I want to apply as a Pirate Officer called a Gamer
A Gamer can moderate posts that were removed from view. Each team should have at least one Gamer on staff.
