Heroes born with special abilities such as Down syndrome, spina bifida or autism are turned into Super Heroes in this 30 episode TV series. Pirate School teaches volunteers the safety, comedy and production skills needed for this all volunteer TV series.
This multi-State production is based from a nonprofit located on Lake Lanier, but “pop up” rehearsal studios can be created anywhere online. Pirate School lets you learn or practice safety, comedy or technical skills at sports bars, schools, churches, boat clubs and even your back yard party.
Besides producing the episode, each team creates a very important “cast party” where the Super Hero of their episode is celebrated by the entire community. This “cast party” is scripted and becomes an integral part of each episode. The “Cast Party” brings out the whole community to celebrate their chosen Super Hero! Pirate School is an integral part of organizing volunteers to put on these large events.
