There are three types of Catfishers. They are Sailors, Landlubbers and Pirates. Sailors say the are honest. Landlubbers are honest some of the time. Pirates are sometimes honest about their dishonesty and sometimes dishonest about their dishonesty. Sailors, Landlubbers and Pirates can all be double agents with false flag posts playing any type of Catfisher.
The only rule is “You Lose.” You always transfer loonies first. This is the fastest way to lose them. If you do get the volunteering or donated item that was promised in the TAVE (Thrift And Volunteer Exchange) it is probably just to set you up for a bigger score next time.
