Besides a thrift store for multiple nonprofits, a comedy lab and an online rehearsal studio this website manages the 30 production teams needed to produce a TV series called “The Tropical Adventure Competition.” Every year 30 teams compete to produce the best quality of life results for their hero that was born with special powers such as Down syndrome, autism or have other Super Hero abilities.
Most people will not need any training or maybe just a little bit to use coupons such as “donate $1 and get $2 off”, create campfire styled skits, donate items or play the Karaoke Challenge Game. Other people may need weeks of training in our “Pirate School” to learn safety, sailing, comedy, production, underwater photography, tax deductions, gourmet cooking on a sailboat, team building for corporations, interactive commercials for sponsors and many other skills needed to produce “The Tropical Adventure Competition.”
In the TOP MENU, “Loony” is the name of our “fair”. This fair is where you exchange reward points for fun, food and adventure! There is also an online thrift store. “Play” is rehearsing or performing fun raising skits. “Work” is a crowd sourced production of a TV series.
Anyone who visits this website can be involved as much as they want in this TV series. This series shows how to improve the quality of life for people born with disabilities. Anyone, such as employees that are team building, can form their own production team and produce an entire episode based on a family they know. Or you could just take a few minutes and produce a tiny part an episode and enter it in the production competition.
Bribing judges and voting for yourself
One of the best features of loonies is that you can win contests by bribing judges or buying votes for yourself . We encourage this as you have to spend your loonies to do that. Each vote to win a contest costs one loony. Who will win the Ugliest Sea Dog Contest? Your bosses picture of his dog or the picture of your boss you entered? Bribing loony judges is as easy as bribing a carnival barker to win contests. There is also a loony judge called “The Bootymaster” who will punish the innocent. (This means they get a booby prize! An example of a booby prize would be a nicely framed gift certificate for a “Free Car Wash.” They get a wash mit and have to volunteer to wash cars for free)
You playfully bribe or catfish loony pirates that are more like “Robin Hoods Merry Men” than actual pirates.
Have fun using “Volunteer coupons” for things other than prizes, food and games. Volunteer Coupons can be used for performances or skits. Skits can include The Ugliest Seadog, Pirate School, The Karaoke Challenge Game, Pirate Initiation, Flash Mob Karaoke, Hero Rescue Dogs, Sea Shanty Karaoke, She Shanty Karaoke and many other activities to pass around some good cheer.
Loonies have an amazing feature that lets a server or hostess get a cash tip way before the food bill arrives.
Mermaids are what you landlubbers call a hostess or server. The “Petting Zoo” is the place they work. (Just ask them) When Mermaids get loony, they give you food rewards and discounts. When you feed Mermaids loonies at the petting zoo their booty gets bigger. Mermaids can sell their big booty for cash! You might want to challenge somebody to a darts tournament for 100 loonies before you eat and you have to be very loony to do that. You don’t want to use a credit card and are looking for a cash price for loonies. Loonies can be transferred for any reason, for anything and to anyone. You can set any cash price or conditions for a loony exchange. The Mermaid might sell loonies for 10 or 20 cents each or 40 or 50 cents each. A Mermaids lair is where you will find her treasure chest. The treasure chest contains volunteer coupons for food discounts and specials. It also has volunteer coupons that tell you how much cash she is willing to sell her big booty for and how to do that without interupting her busy schedule at work.

Hello Hive!
I am the CEO of the Atlanta Volunteers. My wife has just moved here from Georgia to work as a recreational therapist. Since Kentucky is my new home I would like to share an Atlanta Volunteers innovation grown around my son who was born with the special abilities of Down syndrome.
This is an online thrift store that has inspired a pirate themed comedy TV series. In each episode the community helps turn a Hero born with special abilities become a Super Hero!
The online store creates a coupon each time you donate something or volunteer. “Loonies” are reward points traded for coupons. If you donate a bicycle the coupon might be for 40 loonies. You get 40 loonies when somebody picks up the bicycle and they show you the purchased coupon. As a fund raiser you decide to have a car wash. You set a price of 20 loonies for a car wash. Somebody shows you they purchased your coupon and you wash their car.
You show phone coupons to pick up donations, get volunteer labor or interact with fun raising skits. You can also get discounts, specials and upgrades at businesses. Some very special donations include rides in show cars, tickets to games, concerts, meetings with celebrities, sailing, scuba, outdoor adventure or unusual surprises.
“Get Loony” by donating items, volunteering or making a PayPal donation to any nonprofit we list. The nonprofit gets 100% of your donation. The Atlanta Volunteers gives you 4 loonies for every dollar you donate.

There is no cost for anyone or any organization to participate. Reward points called “Loonies” (short for Dubloons) are traded for donations and volunteer labor in the online thrift store. You can “Get Loony” by donating a bicycle, washing cars or making a PayPal donation to the nonprofit of your choice. Loonies are minted when somebody uses a PayPal email address of a listed nonprofit . The donation goes directly to that nonprofit and the donor gets 4 loonies for every dollar they donate. So if somebody donated a bicycle, and you can pick it up at their house if you give them 40 loonies, you have to donate $10 to one of the nonprofits to get the 40 loonies. You then show the purchase coupon on your phone when you go to pick up the bicycle. This works the same when a restuarant or other business creates a coupon. They decide what the coupon is worth, you trade loonies for it then at the business you show the coupon on your phone.
The odd thing about loonies is that their quantity shrinks by 15 to 25% everytime you use them. You can trade the loonies all around as many times as you want, but eventually somebody will have to find a nonprofit they like and donate again to “Get Loony.”
The Atlanta Volunteers software does not charge any fees or hold funds. Only your usual charge from PayPal is taken out. The software simply sees the donation and gives reward points. This is not open to all nonprofits, just those with focused missions that are helping to turn Heroes with special abilities into Super Heroes.
A comical pirate theme is based on actual USA patriotic pirates that battled Britain to help colonists win their independence. Pirates are now helping adults with special abilities win their independence.
This website has 3 distinct pages. Loony, Play & Work. Loony is the online thrift store. Play is fun raising actiities. Work is crowd sourced production of the 30 episode TV series. The TV series is broadcast from our server. This makes the interactive commercials for the online thrift store operational. piratedivebar.com is where you find this.
Since there are no costs or contracts involved, I would like to suggest preliminary approval as once 30 Heroes are found everyone else is on a waiting list. The Buddy House quickly registered 2 episodes while formal approval is underway. I met with their board yesterday after waiting for over a month and when they meet next time they may vote on it. As you know formal board approval can take months!
I have just barely began scouting for 30 Heroes and I have a number of candidates. I will be making first contact with Georgia nonprofits next week.
A few days ago Kennesaw State University in Georgia says they would like to be involved and this may fill a number of open spots. I would like to make this a multi-state TV series and WCU in Franklin North Carolina is our next invite. I would like to get good representation in Bowling Green as this is my new home.
