Nauti Pirate Promo Video

This section describes a video being made for Nauti Pirate and we ask people to learn how to create “skits” playing the Karaoke Challenge Game. Practice your “skit” over a few weeks so it can be perfected and filmed.

The skit starts with one person creating a post. The other people read it and comment. In the comments people post what they want to do.  “I will be the drummer”, “I will be the back up vocalist”, “I will be the lead guitarist”, “I will be a dancer”.  The person that created the post says Username – CODEWORD – Funny phrase. Example: “Bieber CODEWORD frogs are jumping.” This alerts other people to join the skit.
The Karaoke DJ is not involved.  You take your turn to sing during your regular rotation to sing.  If the Karaoke DJ does want to get involved they can probably add a lot of fun to the performance.
Here are some examples of songs to air band but you can use any song you want.
https://youtu.be/ClLCqZin9HY Beastie Boys – (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)
https://youtu.be/IGLVMBTIAPE Lynyrd Skynyrd – Free Bird
https://youtu.be/v7f9038oIgs The Troggs – Wild Thing
https://youtu.be/Lo2qQmj0_h4 AC/DC – You Shook Me All Night Long
The promo video should have 3 different bands for examples of flash mob Karaoke.  The examples will only be about 10 seconds long each.  The songs should be rehearsed a few times to make the promo video effective.
After the song is performed for the first time, go back to the post.  Make comments on how you can improve it with props, dance numbers and even costumes for the next time.  The person that created the post can edit the date and use it later that night, the following week or for as many times as they want.
Once prizes are listed, the person that created the post can be bribed with loonies using the transfer and message widget on the post.  Eventually using the livestream features, people online will be able to bribe people inside Nauti Pirate to do Karaoke and other challenges.

Start rehearsing!

The Production Team

Everyone is invited to be part of the production team simply by hearing the word “CODEWORD”.

If you hold your phone still and get the light just right most cell phones are capable of broadcast quality video.  As many people as possible should try to get shots of the flash mobs.  Upload the video to your favorite social media site and paste the hyperlink for your video in the comment area of the post.  This will let anyone download it, edit it, combine it with other peoples video and produce short “comedy bumper” that is less than 15 seconds long.  If you want to bring in lights, a great camera and co-ordinate with other production people, the post allows you to plan that.
After 3 or 4 weeks you should have quite a flash mob worked out and the video should look great!  This is the time when a rehearsed video shoot should take place if you haven’t already posted all the footage that is needed.
If you would like to help with the production post a message on “Beta Testors” or text me 678 697 6566 – my name is Alan Kindree
